Obituary
A Senior Officer of the Ministry of Defence , Commander Matthew Schreiner S.C.P.O. R.N.
is missing, believed killed, while on an official mission to Turkey at the age of 47. He was born in Surrey, England on January 14th, 1968 to William and Wendy Schreiner. Matthew Graduated from Fairview High School and went on to receive a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of England. He was married to Violet Browning on May 4, 1982. Matthew took pride in working as an administrative coordinator at the Ministry of Defence and loved to help young operatives understand the fundamentals of working in the secret service. One of his best attributes was working with other people and getting the job he was assigned done. Matthew is survived by his brother Marshall Schreiner, his nieces Katie and Alex Schreiner, his parents William and Wendy, and his loving wife Violet. Matthew will be remembered as the best field operative in MI6 History. His wonderful spirit, joy, and talents will be celebrated at 11 am at St.Anne's Cathedral on N. Halsted St. The Burial will be at 3 pm at Graceland Cemetery.
